Heather is also the creator of Social Security Advisor, a monthly newsletter designed to provide financial professionals and consumers critical information on this important income source.
She is an instructor for Surgent McCoy CPE, an educational partner of National Association of Fixed Annuities (NAFA) and is a panelist on the All Star Tax Series sponsored by Edward Jones. She is a sought after keynote speaker on the topic of Social Security and other retirement-related topics.
Heather’s breadth of knowledge extends far beyond Social Security planning and includes retirement income distribution strategies, charitable giving, the rules that govern qualified plans and IRAs, multi-generational planning, tax mitigation techniques, and IRS reporting issues.
Heather’s enthusiasm for her craft and those with whom she partners extends beyond the knowledge that she has gained through a career dedicated to helping financial professionals create retirement income solutions for their clients; she is the consummate educator and loves to teach financial professionals as well as their strategic partners new strategies to help their clients move into an informed retirement with a greater sense of confidence. Heather truly has a passion for serving others and believes that connecting her work to God’s Word is paramount to anything else. Heather resides in Woodstock, Georgia and is married to Eric and is also the proud mom of two athletic boys who live for football, track, and basketball both in season and out. She is also blessed to have two beautiful stepdaughters who gratefully help her balance the family equation. In her spare time, Heather loves to spend time with her family and friends, volunteer in her community with her family, commune with nature in any and every way possible, and rescue wayward animals. Heather and her family are members of Woodstock City Church and Heather is a small group leader within her church's high school ministry, InsideOut.
